A new start - a new Me !!

 

Friends, how did your Christmas go? Was it all catnip and cuddles? I have a new tale to tell so snuggle into your favourite blanket and tuck under your paws. This tale is called ;

A new start - a new Me!!!

I have made two resolutions this year, one; not to be so unkind especially to Mister Marmalade and two;  try to share more of my Garden with my feathery, furry friends...

Now, I realise you may well be amazed that I have had to make such resolutions, as I'm such a sharing caring Miss Furry. I'm all about spreading the love... I am! It's well known in these parts. My generosity  (it is !!) Honestly...  In my new spread the love to all, I thought it would be even kinder to let Mister Marmalade pass my fence, without a crossword or a hard stare. As well as Mister Clumsy Wood Pigeon, my teeny bird nemesis friends (who may I add) regularly pop by for a chat. On the way to their destinations.    

I have also decided that all four hens even Belinda Bossyboots can use the bottom (my bit) of the garden as well as the top (their bit) of the garden. in my newfound sharing is caring world.

This was going very well, when Mister Marmalade passed by without a hitch he looked rather confused though as he said "what I can really just pass, no joke, just pass, no lecture on the rules nothing." "That's right Mister Marmalade, no lecture on the rules, no hard stare nothing. off you go."  he passed along rather quickly I thought for such an old, fluffy cat.

 Next came Mister Clumsy Wood pigeon, who literally knocked me off my fence in an attempt at a very poor landing.  " Erm sorry, Miss Furry I didn't see you there. 

 "Really, I'm not that hard to see being all magnificent and majestic in all my furry ness. Never mind, you may land without any bad feeling Mister Wood pigeon on you go".

 He looked at me with one beady eye then lifted his wing to his brow and scratched his head. "What really Miss Furry, no lecture, no hard stare, no nothing. just that's it." " Yes, I said off you go, have a good day".  " H-H-have a good day really did you just say have a good day?" 

 "Yes I did, everyone knows how kind and caring I am, why is it such a shock to say have a good day." "Well it just you have never said that to me before never," and off he went to drop off Mister Gnomes mail before taking off with the usual fuss and commotion. 

I was just thinking how unreasonable everyone was being today, why is everyone struggling with a new and improved caring spread the love Miss Furry? it's not like I'm all selfish and thoughtless all of the time is it. I thought everyone would be pleased, I mean it's not every day all can have free roam in my magnificent garden not to mention free access to my flowers and all my diggy bits of mud.  All the lovely sniffy stones, not to forget the hiding places where I hide all my unmentionables. Really you would think they would be more appreciative.

 As I was musing this point along came Bellinda "Erm Miss Furry are we allowed to go to the bottom of the garden  (your bit) as well as the top (our bit) as you are feeling so generous today, Nora would like to scratch her beak on that bit of stone over there."

Yes of course you may it's not a problem. Why is everyone struggling with my new spread the love caring sharing self...

" It's just that me and Nora (said Betty) thought maybe when Mister Wood pigeon came in you had bashed your head on a falling fir cone or something". 

Well, really! This is too much you just can't win... that's it I'm going to lie down it's just not fair I'm trying my best it's...so unreasonable this is...

"oh, dear Betty," said Nora.  That's your fault that is, look Miss Furry is all muttering to herself and everything...
