The importance of being fur most!

The importance of being Furmost.

Dear friends, I have been rather tired this past few days and am so exhausted . You may remember my nasty experience on Halloween. Well, this has prompted strong action on my part. New amended rules with appendix thingy of the furry code 2.

I have been (at great) lengths trying to explain the  new rules of the garden with the attached appendix thingy of the furry code 2. To all who pass (well mainly Mister Marmalade).

I don't think it's too much to expect all passing friends or foes to respect said rules of the garden with attached appendix thingy of the furry code 2. But to hear Mister Marmalade it's the end of the world.

"What is the furry code appendix thingy,? I mean Miss Furry.  I've just about got the idea of the old rules, how on earth am I suppose to follow the new furry code!”

“Well really, Mister Marmalade it's not that tricky... After my rather frightening experience with the scary cat on Halloween. I though it better to amend the garden rules so as there was no confusion of what is expected in my garden”.

I explained this at great lengths again to Mister Marmalade with maybe a little embroidery and embellishment.  (Why does Mister Marmalade have to I have everything spelt out too him? It’s so frustrating!!)

Mister Marmalade squished up his squishy, sploggy face “so  just so I’ve got this right. It’s the appendix amendment furry code...or the amendment of the furry code appendix 2...no it’s the amendment appendix code of the furry! No, no don’t interrupt me. I’ve got it let me just explain, it’s the amendment 2 code furry appendix, that’s it. Got it. There you are Miss furry.”

“Actually Miss Furry what is an amendment or indeed a furry code or actually an appendix?.. that’s it  my head hurts.  I’m going of to the daisy field. I've got  Daisies  with my name on them and after all Miss Furry they won't sniff themselves.”

Well really friends how inconsiderate is that. As you know I would never leave a friend in such need. Being as considerate as I am. You  may remember the “what I now call”, “scary episode” of the huge cat. Well it  was such an ordeal it has left me rather shaken.

The new furry code amendment appendix thingy 2 says, “no feline can walk on Miss Furry's fence between the hours of late and much  later. Otherwise!  it will be a strong telling of from my fine furry self. “

I think that should do it friends...and after all there is great importance in being furmost in all matters garden!

Helen Lewins is an author. Helen was born in Northumberland but due to the closure of the coal mines, her parents moved the family to North London to take up work as publicans. After school, she started an apprenticeship with an electrical engineering medical company where she worked for many years as a Service Engineer. With a calling for something else more creative she went travelling in the UK and worked the summer in a hotel on the Jurassic Coast. This led her to study hospitality management and after graduation, she took on a role as a hotel Manager back in Northumberland. Then her life changed forever and along came her beautiful son. It became obvious early on that he was developing at a different rate from his peers. He had limited speech until he was eight years old. Eventually, after quite a long journey he was diagnosed with Autism. That is when Helen started to write about Miss Furry to entertain her son as it was based on their pet cat. It has been a very personal journey for them both and Helen hopes that Miss Furry brings joy to other children. Helen and her Son live in Northumberland with Miss Furry who does indeed spend her days patrolling the fence.
